ABOUT
Hi! I decided to create a Travel site to share my adventures! I plan on posting at least 1 journal entry per trip, which will share where I went and suggestions for what to see, where to go, what to eat, etc. Enjoy!

Note: There is not a journal entry for each place listed in "Where I've Been" since some of those places I went to a long time ago, so I don't remember enough to write an entry about it.

WHERE I'VE BEEN
- Kauai, Hawaii
- Taipei, Taiwan
- Tokyo, Japan
- Texas
- Florida
- Missouri
- Illinois
- Washington D.C.
- Canada
- Mexico
- Wisconsin
- Minnesota

WHERE I WANT TO GO
- England
- Scotland
- Italy
- California
- Oahu, Hawaii
- Oregon
- Ireland
- Sanibel, Florida
- New York

What to Pack for a Perfect Road Trip
By: Nicole
As everyone knows, summer is the time for adventures, when we feel free to wander and explore as we please. What better time for a road trip with your friends?! With these essentials, you’ll be sure to have a memorable experience you’ll be talking about for years. So pack your bags and get ready to roll (or drive)!
 1. The Best Bag
The right bag for a road trip is lightweight, versatile, and big enough to store everything you need in style. Some ideal styles for a road trip would be backpacks, tote bags (leather or canvas), or hobo bags, since they are cute yet practical.
2. The Perfect Playlist
Perfect tunes, wind in your hair and sun on your face. What else could a girl want?! The right collection of songs could amp up the energy of the road trip and create some serious bonding experiences. It could also make the time spent in the car fly by, because you’ll be singing along the whole ride! Some road trip-worthy artists include Lana Del Rey, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lorde, and Vampire Weekend. Can’t find the perfect songs for your trip? Try searching up some “road trip” playlists on the 8tracks or Pandora apps.
3. The Sweetest Shades
On a bright summer day on a road trip, sunglasses are a must to protect your eyes and prevent you from squinting so hard you can’t see the scenery as you drive by. No matter what style you prefer, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and Ray-Ban have high quality sunnies that look cute on anybody!
4. The Comfiest, Cutest Clothes
When spending hours in the car, it is important to keep your outfit casual yet stylish, to stay comfortable and look good at the same time. For pants, think harem pants, boyfriend jeans, “sweat shorts”, etc. When it comes to shirts, halter tops, “muscle tanks”, and graphic t-shirts with witty sayings on them are ideal. As it might get chilly at night or from the breeze, pack a fluffy sweatshirt, cardigan or flannel to snuggle up and stay warm and comfortable. The ideal footwear for a casual road trip includes lace-up boots, slip on Vans sneakers, Converse sneakers, moccasins, Toms or espadrilles. These are comfortable to walk in, practical, and complement any outfit as well!
5. The Apt Accessories
The perfect accessories will provide you with all you could ever want and more on a road trip. Make sure to pack a beanie or a scarf if you are in a colder area. Also, a watch and some good lace bralettes will come in handy and go with anything. Feel free to pack or wear small necklaces or chokers and casual rings on a road trip, but be careful not to lose them.
6. The Essential Extras
Ever heard the saying, “It’s the little things that matter most?” Well, it’s true, especially on road trips! Items such as lip balm, moisturizer, and hair ties will come in handy throughout the trip. You might also want to consider bringing along a journal or sketchbook to record your thoughts, memories or inspirations that pop up along the way. When it comes to gadgets, don’t forget your camera or phone to capture and remember all the best moments of your perfect road trip!
Not sure what to buy? Here are some specific examples of each of the above categories!
